Johnson & Alday Supports Georgia Dance Conservatory’s 65th production of the Nutcracker.
This past weekend Johnson & Alday had the privilege of supporting and participating in the Georgia Dance Conservatory’s 65th production of the Nutcracker. Georgia Dance Conservatory, located at the corner of West Park and Mill Street, has literally been a cornerstone of the Marietta Square since Ruth Mitchell founded the dance school in 1956.
Partner Bobby Johnson had the distinct pleasure of “dancing” in the show as a party parent. More importantly, Bobby’s daughter, Miss Mary Wells Johnson, was an adorable lamb in the “Dance of the Reed Flutes” portion of the production.
Johnson & Alday is proud to support such a longstanding tradition in the Marietta community. We congratulate all the dancers for their tireless dedication and amazing performance. We also wish to congratulate Ms. Grey Stone and Ms. Ashleigh Whitworth for their creative genius in staging this historic and acclaimed production.
