Originally from New York and raised in Colombia and Venezuela, Vanessa returned to the United States in 1986, bringing a diverse cultural background that enriches her work in the legal field. Fluent in Spanish, she combines her multicultural insight with adaptability in her role at Johnson & Alday.
Vanessa brings a unique background to her Worker’s Compensation Legal Assistant role. With a career that began in the legal field from 1994 to 2004, Vanessa has developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practices. In 2007, she transitioned to the commercial real estate sector, focusing on insurance compliance and later managing short-term rental properties in the beautiful Panhandle region.
Outside of work, Vanessa has a passion for diverse activities that keep her life vibrant and fulfilling. She picked up salt-water fishing in 1996, which has not only taught her patience and perseverance but also gave her countless unforgettable experiences along the coast. She also enjoys cooking and exploring ethnic cuisines—whether it’s experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or seeking out hidden culinary gems around town. Additionally, she enjoys letting loose with some karaoke and soaking up live music.
