Born and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia Emily has a long-standing connection to her community. She graduated from Kennesaw State University earning a degree in English Literature & Film with a minor in Research Methods and Methodologies where she also served as the Vice President of Waymark Literary Magazine. She is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences to further her knowledge and experience in research work.
Prior to joining the staff at Johnson & Alday, Emily held an administrative position in the construction industry, refining her skills in communication, office management, and analytics. In addition, she worked towards academic publication utilizing her aptitude for the written word. Her first peer reviewed work will be released in February of 2026.
Emily is driven by the desire to learn more and apply her abilities in a way that would best support any team she is apart of as well as her community. Outside of her time in the office, she enjoys reading, putting her AMC Stubs Membership to good use, and spending time with her cats Kelso and Mittsu.
