Johnson & Alday Join The Fight To End Hunger With Georgia Legal Food Frenzy

The Georgia Legal Food Frenzy is a food and fundraising competition done in partnership with the Georgia Attorney General, the State Bar and YLD, and the Georgia Food Bank Association. This year, Johnson & Alday need your help to gather the most monetary and non-perishable food donations. The Attorney General’s Cup Winner is the firm or legal organization with the most points per employee and the Bar Presidents Award goes to the team with the most points total. Everything raised stays LOCAL and benefits the regional food bank that serves our community.

$1=4 points. 1 pound of food =1 point.

How To Donate Food or Funds

Monetary Donations: Contributions of money are tax-deductible. Online donations can be made at the donation link provided by your regional food bank. Again, make sure you indicate your donation is on behalf of Johnson & Alday! Checks should be made payable to your regional Food Bank. Make sure to indicate on the “for” line that the check is for the Legal Food Frenzy competition and that you are contributing on behalf of Johnson & Alday!

Non-Perishable Food Donations: Drop off food items at Johnson & Alday’s office. The most needed food items are Peanut Butter, Canned Tuna, Canned Beans, Canned Soups, Stews, Pasta, 100% Fruit Juice, Canned Fruits, Vegetables, Macaroni and Cheese Dinners, Whole Grains, Low Sugar Cereals (boxed). Candy will not be counted. Please don’t donate food items in glass containers – they have a high risk of breaking. Please do not open items that are already packed in cases, cartons, or boxes. This will make it easier for the Food Bank to pick up.
