Johnson & Alday Welcomes Catherine Manavi

Johnson & Alday welcomes workers’ compensation attorney Catherine Manavi to the firm. Catherine will serve as Of Counsel for the firm and will primarily work on worker’s compensation matters. Catherine was born and raised in Lilburn, Georgia and now calls East Cobb home.  After graduating from Parkview High School, she attended The Georgia Institute of Technology where she graduated with Highest Honors in 2005.  After college, Catherine attended Georgia State University College of Law where she graduated 5th in her class, Magna Cum Laude.  While in law school, Catherine was honored to serve on the Editorial Board of the Georgia State University Law Review and also worked as an extern for Honorable A. Harris Adams with the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Following law school, Catherine practiced corporate law at a large Atlanta law firm.  In August of 2010, she realized litigation was her passion and she began working at a Midtown Atlanta Insurance Defense law firm, primarily in the area of workers’ compensation defense.   Catherine has managed large caseloads of workers’ compensation claims from inception to resolution, has conducted and defended numerous depositions, obtained expert opinions from treating physicians, mediated dozens of cases and has first-chair trial experience. 

Catherine and her husband, Philip, live in Marietta, Georgia.  They have three young children, Ben, Ellie, and Sophie.  In her free time, Catherine enjoys working out, anything outdoors and reading.
